This picture, taken at the West Virginia state basketball tournament in March 1957 appeared in the Beckley newspaper.
We all remember the Flying Eagles won the state championship that year.
Front row, left to right: Larry Smith ('57), Unidentified, Mary Ellen Thorpe ('58), Peggy Davis ('58), Jim Huffman ('57).
Tomasina Sote ('57) [#2] and Terina Rose Shrewsbury ('57) [#6] are visable on the second row, Carlos Sutton ('57) [#8] is visable on the third row and George Gwinn ('57) [#7] is visable on the fourth row.
The tournament was held in Huntington, West Virginia that year.
