Jerry G. Beavers Sr.

KINCAID - Jerry Gordon Beavers Sr., 61, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at his home in Kincaid.

Born March 28, 1940, at Beckley, the son of the late C.E. "Sleepy" Beavers and Billie Belcher Beavers.

Mr. Beavers was a retired auto salesman having worked at Earehart Motors.

Mr. Beavers was a member of the Page Baptist Church, Oak Hill Lodge No. 120 AF and AM, Sewell Chapter No. 24 R.A.M., Scottish Rite Bodies and Beni Kedem Shrine, a 1958 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was a former Boy Scout and President of Mountaineer Cruisers Car Club.

Survivors include his wife, Teressa Shockey Beavers of Kincaid; a son, Jerry G. Beavers Jr. of Weddington, N.C.; three daughters, Heather Beavers of San Diego, Calif. Nicole Skaggs of Russellville, WV and Tiffany Beavers Sizemore of Oak Hill; and one granddaughter, Payton Beavers.

Service will be 11 a.m. at Tyree Funeral Chapel, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial with masonic graveside rites will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
