Classmate John Meadows died January 20, at his home in Beckley. His obituary, published on his Golden Wedding Anniversary has been added to our class website. “Woody” was a Lincoln kid and a Beckley boy through and through. He was civic minded and unsurpassed in his dedication to his classmates. John organized the earliest class reunions and maintaining our earliest post graduation class records. His health had been deteriorating for some time now, causing him to limit his attendance at our 50th class reunion. We will miss John at all future class gatherings.

Hi Jim,

My husband and I lived in Flint, Michigan for 4 years, Oct. 1969 - June 1974. We, our kids and relatives visited Frankenmuth quite a few times, and we did feast on the chicken dinners and see a lot of the sites to be seen. It's a nice place to visit and just to walk around. Then, about 7 years ago, my husband and I and some of his family, visited there, again. I liked best, the clock where the story is told and the figures come out etc. I love that, just can't remember exactly what it's called.

I didn't read the article but I will at a later time.

Rosemary Amato-Chase

Warmest regards to my oldest friends,
“P.A.”
